• Rigging grid is 80-feet wide by 136-feet long starting from center on the upstage (east) end of the building

• Grid is comprised of Five (5) primary rigging beams running up/down stage in an end-stage configuration.

PYROTECHNICS:

• Any show using pyrotechnic effects will be required to submit a detailed effects plot, along with a listing of effect details (placement, weight of charge, direction, and size of effect, ect.) Additionally, a current pyro technician’s license for the lead pyro technician valid for the largest classification of effect used, and MSDS sheets must be received by the PowerHouse Event Manager at least 14 business days prior to the scheduled load-in date. The Alliant Energy PowerHosue reserves the right to require a walk through inspection or full demonstration of the effects in the presence of the local Fire Inspector for any pyrotechnic display.

LOADING DOCKS / FORKLIFTS / PARKING:

• The Loading Docks are located on the North side of the PowerHouse Complex located off A Avenue. The loading dock area can accommodate Three (3) 53-foot semi-tractor-trailers at one time. Two additional low truck docks are located West of the three main loading docks.

• Loading Dock Equipment:

• Two (2) Aluminum Truck Ramps

• One (1) Dock Plate

• Dock C has a Trailer Lock to allow forklift to be driven into trailer.

• Quantity of Orange Road Cones are available.

• FORKLIFTS & GENIE LIFT:

• Two (2) 4,500 lbs. Forklifts with One (1) set of Fork Extensions.

• One (1) Genie Lift AWP-40s with 46-foot Working Height.

• PARKING:

• Parking for up to Four (4) Tour Buses close to shore power with additional room for two (2) more with lane closure on A Avenue.

• Parking for up to Three (3) 53-foot semi-tractor-trailers - Two (2) in loading dock and one (1) on A Avenue. With lane closure eight (8) additional semi-tractor-trailers can be parked.

• Additional Street Parking on 2nd Street. Street parking at hooded meters can be reserved by contacting the Event manager 1-week in advance. Standard bagged meter cost is $10.00 per meter with a $25.00 hooding/un-hooding fee per every ten (10) meters.

• Please use the PDF map when choosing vendor setup locations on the concourse level of the Alliant Energy PowerHouse

• During setup, venue OPS crews will gather all trash and cardboard as long the materials are organized into piles and set outside of the vendor booth area.

• Special care must be given to carpeted setup locations. Vendor is responsible to cover carpeted areas of vendor booths to keep the carpet from being stained.
